Mark McHugh and Nick Slocum have been serving Greenwood Manor since 2007.

You may know us as the “pumpkin & flag guys”, used our local sports team calendars to find out who the Sox or Pats were playing next, read our letters, received our “just-listed” or “just-sold” postcards, maybe we have already helped you with a recent real estate transaction or helped satisfy your insurance needs but either way, I’m sure we’ve been plastered on your fridge at some point.

Mark McHugh Bio

My energy and commitment to helping others has benefited a multitude of clients over the years. I am 100% engaged as a full time Realtor and Insurance Associate at the Slocum Agency . I hold the distinct national designations as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and Accredited Buyers Representative. I am dedicated to providing the highest level of service; my friendly attitude is always well received.

Giving back to the community is one of my deepest values. A member of the Warwick Rotary Club, my service to others makes a difference. I volunteer as the Treasurer of the Warwick Neck PTO,  an Active Board Member of the Warwick Neck Improvement Association, and a Coach and sponsor of  Warwick American Little League.

I’ve been married to my wife Cara, a Providence School Teacher since 2000.  We share time with our son Ian, a fourth grader and four year old daughter, Alex Rose and expecting a new addition in May 2010. Our passions for the outdoors include swimming, boating, bike riding, gardening and cooking.

Nick Slocum Bio

Nick been a full time Realtor and Insurance Agent since 2006 becoming part of the third generation of The Slocum Agency, Inc. & Slocum Realty, a family owned & operated business that has served Rhode Island since 1949.  Since 2006 Nick has had the pleasure of helping many buyers and sellers accomplish their goals and has striven to continue to improve his skills through continuing education.  In the past few years Nick has achieved the designations of Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and e-PRO. On the insurance side, he also has achieved the designation of  CIC, or Certified Insurance Counselor, which is one of the most highly respected designations in the insurance industry.

Nick has further enhanced his career with his commitment to the community as has his family before him.  He has enjoyed tremendous involvement with the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce, Kent Washington Board of Realtors and Independent Insurance Agents of Rhode Island Young Agents Group just to name a few.  He believes in the concept of giving back to the community that has so graciously supported him.  Nick has been born and raised in Warwick attending Warwick schools including Bishop Hendricken High School.  He graduated from Nichols College in Dudley, MA with concentrations in Marketing, Management and Human Resources.  Some of his passions and hobbies include golf, skiing, boating and fishing.
